Almost every day that’s nice out, Owen and I go to the park at the top of our street. It’s a bit of a ramshackle park – and could definitely use some refurbishing – but what’s great about it is its proximity (Owen can walk there – and he’s been walking a month) and its accessibility (there’s a play area that is low and safe for little little kids).
So we head out, after daycare, in the afternoons.
And we point excitedly at exciting things, like cats, dogs, squirrels, and birds.
Sometimes we chase each other, to speed things up.
And look pensively up into the sky.
Eagerly await being lifted up…
And charge through the tunnel, into the light at the other side.
Nice baby!
